2) Funding your own training with National Family Mediation (NFM) and applying for a placement with us to gain the practical experience needed to practice. Employment is NOT guaranteed at the end of the placement.

To be assessed as fully competent to work with legally aided clients can take from 18 months to 2 years from starting the Core Training. We require all our mediators to be competence assessed before working with clients as a sole mediator.
